saamudro hi tarangah
kvacana samudro na taarangah
O Lord, when the outwardly differences
wear off (as realization dawns) I become
yours (one with you). But do you become
mine? Though there is no difference
between the waves and the ocean,
(Indeed) the waves belong to the ocean
but never the ocean to the waves (Though
they are one and the same.).
4)

na bhavatikim bhavatiraskaarah
O Lord, who held the Govardhana mountain,
having the sun and the moon as eyes who
is the brother of Indra who crushed the
mountains and who is the enemy of the
demons, when you are seen just once the
misery of samsaara vanishes.
Rather what is impossible if your form
is seen once.
5)

parameshvara paripaalyo
bhavataa bhavataapa bhiito'ham
O Lord of lords, who has always protected
the world coming down in the form of
various incarnations like fish etc.,
protect me who is scared and afflicted
by the misery of birth and death.
O Lord Damodara (whose belly has the
marking of the ropes bound by Yasoda),
who is the embodiment of all virtues, O
most attractive Lord with lotus like
face, O Govinda, who retained the
mantara mountain while churning the
milky ocean, kindly remove my unbearable
and acute fear arising from samsaara.

Naaraayana, karunaamaya, sharanam,
karavaani, taavakou and caranou
- ever swarm around my lotus feet. The
six verses start with the six words (respectively)
I praise Ganesa, the son of Isa, who is
charming to behold with the ever
jingling resonant bells in his waist
band while dancing according to the
taala (beats) during the taandava
dance, raising his lotus like foot and
who had adorned the serpent as a garland
around his beautiful form.

wears a bright gem studded crown of
several hues on which shines the
crescent moon. He is the supreme
matchless ornament of ornaments
destroying the miseries of samsaara.

Salutations to the son of Isa, whose
nature is Existence - Consciousness -
Bliss Absolute, who is tranquil, who is
the creator, preserver and destroyer of
the universe, who indulges in various
divine sports and is effulgent in his
natural form. Salutations to the one who
is the seed of the universe. I beseech
you to kindly bestow your grace and
blessings.
9)
